Tom Holland Doesn't Know The Details Of Christopher Nolan's Next Film
December 21, 2024: Tom Holland is gearing up for an exciting new project with acclaimed director Christopher Nolan. The Spider-Man: Far From Home actor will star in Nolan’s next film, though, as of now, details about the project remain tightly under wraps.
In an appearance on the Dish podcast, Holland shared that shooting hasn’t started yet, and he doesn’t know much about the film. He did mention having met with Nolan, who gave him a “loose pitch” of the project, but Holland emphasized that everything is still very hush-hush.
The film, which Nolan both wrote and will direct, is being distributed by Universal Pictures, with a release date set for July 17, 2026. Nolan will produce the movie alongside his wife, Emma Thomas, under their Syncopy production company. The film will reunite Nolan with Universal, the studio behind his Oscar-winning Oppenheimer, which grossed a staggering $976 million worldwide and earned him Best Director and Best Picture Oscars.
The star-studded cast includes Matt Damon, who has collaborated with Nolan on Oppenheimer and Interstellar, as well as Anne Hathaway and Zendaya. This film marks Holland’s first time working with Nolan, though he and Zendaya have worked together on several Spider-Man films, where they also developed a real-life relationship. Holland jokingly referred to Zendaya as his “saving grace” on set, recalling how they often share a knowing glance when faced with challenging directions or notes from the director.
Holland’s enthusiasm about the project is clear, but with so much still under wraps, fans will have to wait until Nolan is ready to reveal more about this intriguing collaboration.
