September 22, 2025: While filming a stunt for the next Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day in Glasgow, actor Tom Holland, who is best known for playing Spider-Man, got a mild concussion. The incident, which happened on Friday, September 19, has made the actor take a short vacation from filming as a safety measure.

Sources close to the matter say that the injury wasn’t too bad and that Holland should be back to work in a few days. No one else on the cast or crew was hurt during the event, and the filming schedule for the highly anticipated movie will go on as planned.

Destin Daniel Cretton directed Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which started filming in Glasgow in early August. The producers has taken a more open approach this time, letting fans see the magic behind the scenes, unlike in previous films in the series.

The movie will come out in theaters on July 31, 2026. Zendaya and Jacob Batalon will also be in it again. There will also be new actors in the cast, like as Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, Mark Ruffalo, and Michael Mando.
