Among the standout pieces was Cillian Murphy’s grey three-piece suit worn as Tommy Shelby in the series finale, which fetched $2,234. A poignant handwritten note inside the pocket reading “takes off ring” referenced Shelby’s emotional storyline. Murphy’s wool “Tommy suit C” drew the highest bid of $4,063.

Other notable sales included Sam Claflin’s hat, worn in his role as fascist leader Oswald Mosley, which sold for $243, and Helen McCrory’s coat as Polly Gray, the Shelby family matriarch, which went for $880. Murphy’s wedding suit from Season 3 sold for $2,167, while Aimee Ffion Edwards’ embroidered jacket as Esme Shelby earned $325. The auction also featured various ties, dresses, and shoes from the series.

Proceeds from the auction will support cancer research and patient care at Manchester’s Christie Hospital. The event celebrated the enduring legacy of Peaky Blinders, merging the show’s gritty 1920s style with a meaningful charitable cause.

Peaky Blinders, which aired from 2013 to 2022, follows Tommy Shelby’s transformation from Birmingham gangster to political strategist, tackling themes of fascism, communism, and personal struggle. Claflin’s portrayal of Mosley brought real-world extremism to the forefront, while McCrory’s Polly Gray anchored the narrative with sharp wit and strength.

Fans and collectors seized the opportunity to own a piece of television history while contributing to an important cause. The auction also builds anticipation for the upcoming Peaky Blinders film sequel, written by creator Steven Knight and starring Murphy, slated for release this autumn.
