March 19, 2025: Actor-comedian Tracy Morgan had a scary moment on Monday night during a New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden when he suddenly fell ill and had to be escorted out in a wheelchair. The incident occurred during the third quarter of the game between the Knicks and the Miami Heat, leading to a temporary pause of about 10 minutes while staff cleaned up the area. Videos from the scene quickly went viral, showing Morgan holding a towel to his nose, seemingly trying to stop a nosebleed, and prompting concern among fans.

However, Morgan later reassured his followers on Instagram that he was doing okay. In a smiling photo taken from his hospital bed, the ’30 Rock’ star shared an update on his condition. He revealed that the cause of his sudden illness was food poisoning and expressed his gratitude for the care he received from both his doctors and the Madison Square Garden staff.

“Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now, and doctors say it was food poisoning. Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!” Morgan wrote in his post.

He added a lighthearted comment, saying, “More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court, so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs #goknicks.”

Morgan, who is a lifelong Knicks fan, has had a history of health challenges. He has diabetes and underwent a kidney transplant in 2010. In 2014, he survived a serious car accident involving a Walmart truck that left him in a coma for two weeks and required months of recovery. Tragically, the crash also killed his collaborator and mentor, James McNair.

Following the incident at Madison Square Garden, a spokesperson for the venue said, “We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside.” Fans were relieved to see that Morgan was doing well, and many took to social media to send him their best wishes.
