The much-anticipated trailer for Chalti Rahe Zindagi, a gripping pandemic drama, has been released. Set during the COVID-19 lockdown, the film delves into the lives of three families residing in a housing complex.
Chalti Rahe Zindagi examines how the lockdown uncovers hidden truths and tests the strength of relationships. The narrative revolves around Krishna Bhagat, a local bread supplier, whose daily visits link the families together. As the pandemic worsens, their lives unravel through three dramatic phases, revealing secrets, financial difficulties, and familial tensions.
Directed by Aarti S. Bagdi and produced by Ajay Kumar Singh, Shakir Khan, and Rohandeep Singh, the film features an ensemble cast including Seema Biswas, Manjari Fadnnis, Siddhant Kapoor, Trimala Adhikari, Rohit Khandelwal, Indraneil Sengupta, and Barkha Sengupta.
Director Aarti S. Bagdi shared, “With Chalti Rahe Zindagi, we aimed to capture a unique moment in history that impacted us all. The pandemic forced us to pause, reflect, and confront truths we often overlooked. Through the intertwined stories of our characters, we explore how crises can reveal both the best and most challenging aspects of human nature. This film is a tribute to human resilience and the connections that bind us, even when physically apart. I believe audiences will see parts of themselves in these characters and find inspiration in their journeys.”
Seema Biswas, who plays Leela, added, “Portraying Leela in Chalti Rahe Zindagi was profoundly moving. This film beautifully depicts the struggles and triumphs of ordinary people during extraordinary times. I hope viewers will resonate with these characters and their stories.”
Chalti Rahe Zindagi is set to premiere on ZEE5 on July 26.
