Trailer for Sci-Fi Epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ Released

The wait is finally over. The trailer for the highly anticipated sci-fi film ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Prabhas, has been released. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this post-apocalyptic film is inspired by Hindu scriptures and is set in the year 2898 AD.

The film’s trailer is available in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and English. The trailer revealed that director Ashwin has loosely reimagined the Mahabharat through a futuristic lens, adding a dystopian touch to the narrative.

Sharing the trailer on his Instagram account, Prabhas wrote, “The Future Unveiled… #Kalki2898AD Trailer is Here. See you in theatres on June 27th, 2024.”

Last month, the makers shared a teaser of Amitabh Bachchan’s look from the sci-fi dystopian film during the thrilling Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

Disha Patani and Kamal Haasan are also part of the film. ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is slated to release in cinemas on June 27.
