
Tripti Dimri Joins Prabhas in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit After Deepika Padukone’s Reported Exit
Mumbai, May 24 – In a major casting update for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s highly anticipated film Spirit, actress Tripti Dimri has officially joined the project as the female lead, replacing Deepika Padukone, who was previously expected to star opposite Prabhas.
The announcement was made by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga himself, who shared the news on Instagram with the caption, “The female lead for my film is now official :-)”.
Tripti Dimri, who earlier collaborated with Vanga on the blockbuster Animal, also expressed her excitement and gratitude on social media, writing, “Still sinking in….So grateful to be trusted with this journey. Thank you @sandeepreddy.vanga ..honoured to be a part of your vision.”
The news has thrilled fans, with many sharing their excitement about Tripti’s casting. Earlier reports suggested Deepika Padukone was set to play the female lead alongside Prabhas in Spirit. However, it now appears that she is no longer associated with the project.
