Triptii Dimri Charges Hefty Amount For ‘Spirit’ But Still Much Less Than Deepika Padukone

May 27, 2025: Days after Triptii Dimri was confirmed as the female lead in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming action drama Spirit, reports have surfaced revealing her remuneration. According to Telugu 360, Triptii will be paid approximately Rs 4 crore for the role opposite Prabhas, significantly lower than the Rs 20 crore Deepika Padukone was reportedly offered before her exit from the project.

Deepika, who was set to star in Spirit after her acclaimed collaboration with Prabhas in Kalki 2898 AD, was said to be demanding a high salary, eight-hour workdays, and a share of the film’s profits. These conditions reportedly did not sit well with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, leading to her departure. Deepika, now a new mother, is believed to be prioritizing a work-life balance.

Triptii, who previously worked with Vanga on Animal, confirmed her role in Spirit with a heartfelt post on social media, sharing the film’s title poster with her name displayed in multiple languages. She expressed gratitude for being entrusted with the role and honored to be part of Vanga’s vision.

Spirit is currently in the final scripting phase, with shooting planned to start in October 2025. The film, produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, promises a high-octane action drama, with Vanga having spent six months developing a groundbreaking script.

Prabhas will reportedly undergo an intense physical transformation to play a lean cop, marking a significant shift for the actor. The film is slated for a 2027 release, promising much anticipation from fans.
