Tu Yaa Main Trailer: Shanaya Kapoor And Adarsh Gourav Fight For Their Lives

The official trailer for director Bejoy Nambiar’s survival thriller Tu Yaa Main was released on January 22, 2026, delivering a chilling twist to the usual Valentine’s Week romance. Starring Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav, the film explores the dark side of creator culture, where a “collab” turns into a deadly fight for survival.

A Love Story with a “Bite”

The 3-minute, 20-second trailer highlights a unique blend of new-age influencer lifestyles and raw, animalistic terror.

  • The “Khoon Bhari Maang” Connection: The trailer opens with a meta-reference to the 1988 Rekha classic, showing a character watching the famous crocodile attack scene. This sets a haunting precedent for the lead pair’s nightmare.
  • Worlds Collide: Shanaya Kapoor plays Miss Vanity, a high-end fashion influencer, while Adarsh Gourav plays Aalaa Flowpura, a raw rapper/creator from Nalasopara. Their professional partnership blossoms into romance—until a vacation goes horribly wrong.
  • The Trap: While relaxing at a luxury villa, the duo finds themselves trapped in a vacant, blood-stained swimming pool with a menacing crocodile. The trailer shifts from glitzy montages to claustrophobic sequences of the pair desperately trying to outwit the predator.
  • The Climax: The preview ends on a terrifying note, showing Shanaya’s character being dragged away into the depths of a forest by the predator.

Production & Music

  • Creative Team: Produced by Aanand L. Rai and Himanshu Sharma (Colour Yellow Productions) in association with Bhanushali Studios.
  • Soundtrack: The film’s first track, “Fame Us” by 7BantaiZ and Rai Harrie, has already gone viral for capturing the “Mumbai vibe” and the obsession with digital validation.
  • Genre: Described as a “Date Fright” movie, Bejoy Nambiar aims to subvert the romantic drama genre with his signature genre-bending style.

Valentine’s Week Box Office Clash

Tu Yaa Main is set for a theatrical release on February 13, 2026. It faces a high-profile “clash of the dark romances” against:

  1. O’Romeo: Vishal Bhardwaj’s gritty Mumbai Western starring Shahid Kapoor.
  2. Swayambhu: A period war action drama starring Nikhil Siddhartha.
