‘Tufaan’: Vicky Kaushal Teases New Song By A.R. Rahman Ahead Of ‘Chhaava’ Release

February 5, 2025: Ahead of the release of his historical action film Chhaava, actor Vicky Kaushal has teased fans with an exciting glimpse of the next song, ‘Tufaan’, composed by music legend A.R. Rahman.

On Wednesday, Vicky shared a black-and-white photo with Rahman on Instagram, sending fans into a frenzy with the cryptic caption: “A storm is coming! #TOOFAN #ChhaavaOnFeb14.”

The first track from Chhaava, ‘Jaane Tu’, was released last Friday and received a positive response. Vicky attended the music launch event in Hyderabad, where his co-star Rashmika Mandanna, recovering from a leg injury, joined him in a wheelchair.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is a period drama that brings the legendary story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, played by Vicky Kaushal, to the big screen. The film is set to showcase the Maratha ruler’s reign, beginning with his coronation in 1681.

In a recent promotion in Jaipur, Vicky shared insights into his preparation for the role, mentioning the immense work put into historical accuracy, physical training, and research to bring authenticity to the film.

The movie is slated to hit theatres on February 14.
