Twinkle Khanna recalls Jackie Shroff's reaction to her book launch invitation and refers to him as the "coolest guy"
Twinkle Khanna, an actor-turned-author, remembered Jackie Shroff’s response when she invited him to the premiere of her book “Welcome To Paradise.” He was dubbed the “coolest guy on the planet” by her. She took to Instagram to share a photo of the ‘Hero’ star holding a book in one hand and a plant in the other. “He is in the book, and I only got a plant emoji when I invited @apnabhidu to the book launch,” she said in the post. It turns out that it means ‘Yes, I’ll bring a plant.’ “Clearly the most cool guy on the planet.”
She received a heartfelt tweet from Akshay Kumar congratulating her, saying, “Proud, prouder, proudest..That’s how you always make me feel, whether it’s to take up writing, going back to the university in your 40’s or just defying age and norms every chance you get. And today as you launch your new book, #WelcomeToParadise I just know it will add inches to my already big chest Congratulations Tina”
Welcome to Paradise, my fourth book, is a compilation of stories that delve into the depths of heartache, love, and deceit,” she stated in a previous social media post announcing the publication of her new book. After spending the previous five years living in my thoughts, a few of these characters are now prepared to meet you all:) After starring in many movies, Twinkle gave up acting in 2001. ‘Mrs Funnybones’, her debut novel, was released in 2015, marking her literary debut. In 2017, she created a book called “The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad,” which is an anthology of stories. The following year, she published another book called “Pyjamas Are Forgiving.”
