Twinkle Khanna Shares Insights on Son Aarav’s Kind Nature: “People Take Advantage at Times”

The actor-author also talks about daughter Nitara, advising her to lower her boundaries for smoother interactions.

Actor-turned-author Twinkle Khanna recently opened up about her children, giving fans a glimpse into her parenting approach and her son Aarav Bhatia’s personality. Speaking to The Print, Twinkle described Aarav as “soft-hearted” and generous, traits that can sometimes leave him vulnerable to being taken advantage of.

“With your children, you have to see their personalities and give advice accordingly,” Twinkle said. “My son is very kind, soft-hearted, since he was a child. Not just in dating, but with friends and others too. I always had to tell him to set boundaries because his generosity can sometimes be misused by others.”

Twinkle also shared her thoughts on raising her daughter Nitara, who is 13. She explained that she encourages Nitara to lower her boundaries slightly. “With my daughter, I tell her she has to be a little less aggressive. Whether it’s dating, friendship, or any relationship, that advice is the same. For him, a little more assertiveness; for her, a little less,” she added.

Twinkle Khanna, who is married to actor Akshay Kumar since 2001, is also an accomplished author, having released books such as Mrs Funnybones, The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad, Pyjamas Are Forgiving, and Welcome to Paradise. She continues to balance her career and family while sharing her parenting insights publicly.
