Universal Studios Offers Free Theme Park Tickets To LA Wildfire First Responders
February 1, 2025: In a heartfelt gesture of gratitude, Universal Studios Hollywood has announced that it will offer free admission to first responders who played a crucial role in battling the recent wildfires in Los Angeles. This offer, available until April 10, also includes a 50% discount on up to three one-day general admission tickets for accompanying guests.
Scott Strobl, executive vice president and general manager of Universal Studios Hollywood, expressed his appreciation for the first responders, saying, “The selfless dedication and tireless resilience exhibited by the first responders in response to combatting the L.A. wildfires has been nothing short of extraordinary, and we are very grateful to these unsung heroes for their courage during this difficult time.”
First responders, including National Guard members, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, and others involved in the wildfire response, can access the complimentary tickets by visiting the “First Responder Heroes Ticket” booth at the theme park’s front gate. To redeem the offer, they will need to present a valid government-issued photo ID along with a valid employee ID card. Unfortunately, the offer is not available to retired or volunteer first responders, and tickets cannot be redeemed online.
The wildfires, which began in Pacific Palisades and spread to areas like Malibu, Santa Monica, and Altadena-Pasadena, left many people without homes and jobs. Universal Studios Hollywood’s gesture provides a much-needed respite for those who risked their lives to protect others during this devastating disaster.
