Unveiling the Trailer of ‘Heretic’: Hugh Grant’s Chilling New Horror Film

The trailer of a new Horror movie ‘Heretic’ staring Hugh Grant was unveiled recently. Slated for a November-15 release, this hair raising film is written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods.

The film also stars Chloe East as Sister Paxton and Sophie Thatcher as Sister Barnes apart from Hugh Grant as Mr. Reed. The film is produced by A24, a studio behind some popular flicks such as MOONLIGHT, LADY BIRD, EX MACHINA, THE WITCH, EIGHTH GRADE, HEREDITARY and more.

The Plot: Hugh Grant plays Mr. Reed, a man who invites two young Mormon missionaries into his home. The missionaries, soon realize they are trapped and cannot leave.

Mr. Reed, played by Grant, presents them with a choice. He writes “BELIEF” and “DISBELIEF” on two doorways. The missionaries must choose a door based on their faith. The trailer shows a wooden maze that one of the missionaries gets lost in.

The trailer of this cat and mouse chase in a stranger’s house is quite dramatic and vivid. The film promises to be a striking watch.
