The Bollywood actress alleges her luxury handbag disappeared from the baggage belt at London Gatwick. Urvashi Rautela takes to social media, appealing for urgent help to retrieve her Dior bag.
July 31, 2025: Urvashi Rautela, a Bollywood actress, reports that her pricey Christian Dior handbag, which she believes included gems worth ₹70 lakh in it, was stolen from the baggage belt at London Gatwick Airport on Thursday, July 31, 2025. The actress was aboard an Emirates Airlines flight from Mumbai to London, where she was meant to go to Wimbledon.

Rautela put a picture of the brown Dior bag on Instagram with her flight information and luggage tag and appealed for help straight away. She said, “If you let injustice happen, it will happen again.” She also said, “Our brown baggage from @wimbledon @dior was stolen from the belt at @gatwickairport after we flew there from Mumbai on Emirates during #Wimbledon.” Tag for your ticket and baggage above. “Please help me get it back right away.”
Urvashi’s team sent out a statement in which she claimed she was very upset and frightened about what she called a “alarming breach of airport security.” She said that the issue is about “accountability, safety, and dignity for all travelers” by saying that she is a “Platinum Emirates Member” and a “international artist attending Wimbledon.” She added that even though she had called Emirates assistance and people at Gatwick Airport, she still hadn’t gotten any help.
After Urvashi made a major impression at Wimbledon on July 13, 2025, when she gained a lot of media attention, something happened. While she was there, people noticed her holding a brown Hermes purse that had four Labubu dolls on it. This choice of accessory sparked a bit of a stir online, with some people even questioning whether the Labubu dolls were real.
“Jaat” and “Daaku Maharaaj” were the last movies Urvashi Rautela worked on. They came out in the first part of 2025. “Jaat” didn’t do well at the box office, but her song “Dabidi Dibidi” from “Daaku Maharaaj” became a huge hit online, which made the movie much more popular across India.
The airport staff haven’t officially answered the actress’s complaint yet. People are worried about how safe their luggage is at big international airports because of the alleged theft.
