Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor Starrer ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ Gets New Release Date

March 16, 2025: The much-awaited romantic entertainer Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, has a new theatrical release date. Initially scheduled to release on April 18 this year, the makers have now pushed the film’s release to September 12, 2025, though the reasons for the delay have not been disclosed.

Directed by Sashank Khaitan, the film marks the second collaboration between Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor after their 2023 movie Bawaal. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is expected to be one of the most anticipated films of the year, with its star-studded cast that includes Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi in prominent roles.

Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, the film has generated a lot of buzz, especially with the behind-the-scenes videos and photos shared by the actors. Varun Dhawan, who plays the role of Sunny, recently shared a funny behind-the-scenes video from the sets, where he humorously introduces the characters of Sunny and Sanskari while keeping the identity of Tulsi Kumari a mystery.

Apart from this romantic thriller, Varun Dhawan is also busy with the shooting of Border 2, a grand cinematic spectacle directed by Anurag Singh. Border 2 is set to feature an ensemble cast that includes Sunny Deol reprising his iconic role, along with Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty.

Fans of both Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor will have to wait a little longer for the release of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, but the film’s new release date in September has certainly heightened expectations.
