Varun Dhawan Kicks Off Summer With Ice Cream And Sunshine Vibes

April 10, 2025: Summer is here, and Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is diving into the season in the coolest way possible—literally. On Thursday, the ‘Bhediya’ star took to Instagram to share a sun-soaked moment, treating fans to a glimpse of his laid-back mood and sweet indulgence.

Clad in a bright blue bucket hat and sunglasses, Varun was seen enjoying “ice cream for lunch,” clearly basking in a moment of carefree joy. “Who has ice cream for lunch? ME,” he cheekily captioned the post, earning instant love from fans who couldn’t get enough of his summer vibes.

While Varun is soaking up the sun now, his work calendar is anything but relaxed. The actor has a string of highly anticipated projects lined up. First up is Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, where he stars opposite Pooja Hegde in a romantic entertainer.

He will also appear in Border 2, a high-profile sequel to the 1997 war epic Border. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film boasts a stellar cast including Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. The original movie depicted the 1971 India-Pakistan war and remains one of Indian cinema’s most iconic war films.

Additionally, Varun will share the screen with Janhvi Kapoor in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. The film, originally set to release on April 18, has now been postponed to September 12 for undisclosed reasons. Directed and written by Shashank Khaitan, the movie also stars Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi. It is being produced under the banners of Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Khaitan himself.
