Sharing the moment on Instagram, Varun posted a selfie with the directors, captioning it, “Was surprised on set today by my blockbuster directors.” ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny,’ described as a gritty spy action thriller with a heartwarming love story, promises to captivate audiences with its 1990s backdrop.

Apart from ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny,’ Varun’s birthday saw the release of a new poster for ‘Baby John,’ where he sports long hair and an intense look. The film, produced by Murad Khetani, features Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.

Adding to his lineup, Varun will also feature in ‘Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari,’ directed by Shashank Khaitan. The ensemble cast includes Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi. Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, the movie is set to hit theaters on April 18, 2025.
