Varun Dhawan’s Nostalgic Throwback to ‘October’ Turns 6

As ‘October’ turns six, Varun Dhawan reminisces about the journey with a special behind-the-scenes video shared on Instagram. In this soulful film, Varun’s portrayal captivated audiences alongside co-stars Banita Sandhu and Gitanjali Rao.

In ‘October,’ Varun showcased his versatility, proving his mettle even in the simplest roles. Critics hailed his performance as Danish, showering praise on his subtle yet impactful portrayal.

Released on April 13, 2018, ‘October’ continues to hold a special place in Varun’s heart as he gears up for another exciting project with his father, director David Dhawan. This upcoming venture, scheduled for release on October 2, 2025, promises to be a delightful blend of family drama, romance, and comedy.

‘Baby John,’ Varun’s action thriller, is also in the works, featuring an ensemble cast including Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav. Directed by A. Kaleeswaran, the film hits theaters on May 31, 2024.

Additionally, Varun is set to star in the Indian adaptation of ‘Citadel,’ alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu, a project eagerly awaited by fans. Created by Raj and DK, this adaptation promises to deliver an exciting twist to the acclaimed Hollywood series.
