Veteran Actor Atul Parchure Passes Away at 57 After Battling Cancer

October 15, 2024: Veteran actor Atul Parchure has passed away at the age of 57 after a prolonged battle with cancer. He breathed his last on Monday, leaving the film fraternity and his fans in deep shock. Tributes have poured in across social media, honoring the actor’s contributions to the entertainment industry.

Atul Parchure was a prominent figure in Marathi cinema and had a significant presence in Hindi television and films. He is fondly remembered for his comedic roles and his notable appearances on The Kapil Sharma Show.

Parchure had previously spoken about his cancer diagnosis during a talk show, revealing that doctors had found a 5 cm tumor in his liver. In an interview, he explained, “I was told I had a tumor about 5 centimeters long in my liver, and it was cancerous.”

However, his treatment was complicated by a misdiagnosis, which exacerbated his condition. Parchure shared his ordeal, saying, “My first procedure after the diagnosis went wrong, impacting my pancreas and leading to further complications. I couldn’t walk or speak clearly for a while. The doctors suggested waiting for a month and a half before any surgery due to potential risks like jaundice or liver damage. Thankfully, I sought a second opinion and received the proper treatment, including chemotherapy.”

Despite his health struggles, Atul Parchure continued to be a beloved figure in both Marathi and Hindi entertainment. He is best known for his roles in Marathi projects such as Vasu Chi Sasu, Priyatama, and Turk Mhatare Arka. His extensive filmography includes Hindi films like Navra Mazha Navsacha, Salaam-E-Ishq, Partner, All the Best: Fun Begins, Khatta Meetha, and Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap.
