Veteran Actor Tanuja Hospitalized in Mumbai

Veteran actor Tanuja is being monitored in the intensive care unit at a hospital in Mumbai. Tanuja was admitted to Mumbai’s Criticare Hospital in Juhu last night (Sunday) after experiencing breathing difficulties, according to a person close to the actor. She is doing well while being monitored by doctors in the intensive care unit.

She is reportedly scheduled to leave the hospital this evening. At the age of sixteen, Tanuja Samarth made her stage debut and captured the hearts of all with her Bollywood performances. When she was sixteen years old, her first motion picture, “Chhabili,” was released. After “Memdidi” in 1962, she went on to star in a number of motion pictures. On the sets of “Ek Baar Muskura Do,” Tanuja met her future husband, Shomu Mukherjee, with whom she was married in 1973. Two daughters, Kajol and Tanishaa, are shared by the couple.
