Vicky Kaushal Relishes Patna’s Famous Litti Chokha During ‘Chhaava’ Promotions
Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal, who is currently on a nationwide tour to promote his upcoming film Chhaava, made a stop in Patna, where he indulged in the city’s most famous delicacy—litti chokha.
The Uri actor took to Instagram on Saturday to share pictures and videos of his experience at a local street stall, where he was seen enjoying the traditional Bihari dish. The actor’s enthusiasm for local flavors was evident as he interacted with fans and relished every bite.
Sharing his excitement, Vicky captioned his post,
“Patna aakar Litti Chokha kaise miss kar jaayein??? Garda uda diya!” (How can one miss Litti Chokha when in Patna? It was amazing!)
Fans quickly flooded the comment section with love, praising his connection with local culture and traditions.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is a historical period drama that brings to life the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the valiant Maratha warrior and son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film also stars Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna in key roles.
Speaking at a Jaipur promotional event, Vicky Kaushal shed light on the intense preparation for the role:
“A biopic requires immense preparation, not just for an actor but for the entire team. Working on a historical subject is always challenging due to the large budget and the need to recreate an entire era authentically. We have tried to make it as realistic as possible.”
The actor further added,
“The preparation was not just physical but also mental. I underwent extensive action training, bodybuilding, and deep historical research to understand the time period and bring authenticity to the role.”
After Chhaava, Vicky Kaushal will be seen in the mythological magnum opus Mahavatar, where he portrays the legendary warrior-sage Parashurama. The film, inspired by Indian mythology, is set for a Christmas 2026 release.
Chhaava is all set to hit theatres on February 14, promising audiences an action-packed historical saga.
