Mumbai, April 6 – Vicky Kaushal’s magnum opus Chhaava is on the cusp of rewriting Indian box office history. After 52 days in cinemas, the Laxman Utekar directorial has grossed a staggering ₹597.15 crore, falling just ₹84 lakh short of surpassing Stree 2 (₹597.99 crore) to become the 7th highest-grossing Indian film of all time.

The historical epic, centered on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has resonated deeply with audiences, particularly in Maharashtra, Gujarat, and North India, where regional pride and storytelling have struck a chord.
