The film has grossed approximately 10-15% more than Jigra, though both movies were impacted by the Navratri festival, especially on Friday and Saturday.

Industry insiders have speculated that while there is no adult content in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, the title may have deterred family audiences in certain regions, particularly in Gujarat.
