Vidaamuyarchi Box Office Day 12: Made at Over ₹250 Crores, Ajith’s Thriller Struggles, Domestic Collects Stand at ₹78 Crores

Ajith Kumar’s latest action thriller, Vidaamuyarchi, had a phenomenal start, earning the title of Biggest Tamil Opener of 2025. However, its momentum is now slowing down, with collections seeing a sharp drop in its second week.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Vidaamuyarchi collected ₹50 lakh on its 12th day (February 17), bringing its total domestic collection to ₹77.90 crore. The worldwide box office figures stand at ₹132.12 crore.

Despite a strong opening, the film is now losing momentum, raising doubts about whether it can cross the ₹100 crore domestic mark.

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, Vidaamuyarchi is an action-packed thriller and an official adaptation of the 1997 Hollywood film ‘Breakdown’.
