Vidaamuyarchi Box Office Day 13: Mounted at Over ₹250 Crore Ajith Kumar’s Film Slows Down, Struggles to Cross ₹80 Crore Mark in India

After a strong opening, Ajith Kumar’s high-octane thriller Vidaamuyarchi witnesses a sharp decline in collections, earning just ₹36 lakh on Day 13.

February 19, 2025: Ajith Kumar’s Vidaamuyarchi has hit a slowdown at the box office after a promising first-week run and a high-energy second weekend. The action-packed thriller, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, opened with an impressive ₹26 crore on its first day but is now facing diminishing returns at the ticket counters.

On Day 13, Vidaamuyarchi earned just ₹36 lakh, bringing its total domestic collection to ₹78.46 crore, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. The film had already seen a dip on Monday, when it collected ₹50 lakh, signaling a decline in its box office momentum.

  • Opening Day: ₹26 crore
  • First-Week Total: ₹72.75 crore
  • Tamil Version Earnings: ₹70.75 crore

  • Worldwide Collection (as of Day 12): ₹132.12 crore

Despite its initial success, Vidaamuyarchi now faces a tough road ahead to cross the ₹80 crore mark in India.

As Vidaamuyarchi enters its third week, all eyes are on whether it can regain momentum and inch closer to the ₹100 crore milestone.
