Vidya Balan, Raveena Tandon, and Others Attend Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s Wedding Reception

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married on Sunday in an intimate wedding ceremony attended by close friends and family members. The couple hosted a grand wedding reception, graced by numerous Bollywood celebrities.

Vidya Balan attended the event with her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur. Film director Subhash Ghai arrived with his wife. Veteran star Saira Banu, dressed in a green salwar kameez, was also spotted at the event.

Raveena Tandon looked stunning as she arrived to congratulate the newlywed couple. Daisy Shah and Sangeeta Bijlani were also present, and Aditya Roy Kapur made an appearance at the wedding reception.

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal were seen together at the event, while veteran star Rekha, film director Ramesh Sippy, and Fardeen Khan were among the notable guests. Making her first appearance post-wedding, Sonakshi Sinha looked radiant in a red silk saree. She accessorized with a choker-style green and gold necklace, matching drop earrings, and red bangles. Her bun was adorned with a garland of jasmine.

Anil Kapoor graced the red carpet in a stylish black outfit. Kajol turned heads in a black and gold saree with a multi-colored blouse. Huma Qureshi wore a beautiful beige saree with a trendy cutout blouse and a patterned net jacket, complemented by natural makeup and red lipstick. Her brother, Saqib Saleem, a close friend of the couple, wore a green kurta with black trousers and a green jacket. Chunky Panday sported a blue jacket with a white shirt and black denim. Priyaank Sharma attended with his wife Shaza Morani, and other celebrities like Gulshan Devaiah with his wife Kallirroi Tziafeta, Zoya Murani, Aanand L. Rai, Reema Kagti, Tabu, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Anushka Ranjan, and Sanjeeda Sheikh also graced the event.

Sonakshi and Zaheer, who have been dating for seven years, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. The bride wore an ivory saree with intricate embroidery, while the groom opted for an all-white ensemble. They shared beautiful wedding photos on Instagram, capturing moments like Zaheer kissing Sonakshi’s hand and the couple registering their marriage.

Earlier, Shatrughan Sinha was seen at Bandra in Mumbai, where he responded to the paparazzi with a smile as they congratulated him and his wife Poonam Sinha on their daughter’s marriage. The couple thanked the media for their well-wishes. Just days before the wedding, Sonakshi and Zaheer enjoyed bachelor and bachelorette parties with close friends. Sonakshi shared glimpses from these celebrations, including a picture with her close friend Huma Qureshi.

Sonakshi and Zaheer co-starred in the 2022 film “Double XL.”
