Telugu heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda is teaming up once more with director Rahul Sankrityan for his 14th venture, following their successful collaboration on ‘Taxiwaala’. Making the announcement on his birthday, May 9, Deverakonda revealed his latest project after unveiling his 13th film earlier that day with director Ravi Kiran Kola. Taking to his social media accounts, Vijay shared a fresh movie poster of ‘VD14’, described as a period-action drama set in Andhra Pradesh’s Rayalaseema region, produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Alongside the poster, Vijay captioned, “‘The Legend of the Cursed Land’. Rahul Sankrityan X Vijay Deverakonda @MythriOfficial.”
Moreover, Deverakonda has yet another collaboration in the pipeline with producer Dil Raju and director Ravi Kiran Kola, known as #SVC59. It marks his debut in the rural action genre. The poster, unveiled on social media, portrays the actor adorned in red, symbolizing intense drama. Directed by Parasuram Petla, ‘Family Star’ features Deverakonda alongside Mrunal Thakur in their maiden collaboration. Produced by Dil Raju, this multilingual release (Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi) hit theaters on April 5, 2024, garnering praise from audiences and critics alike.
