
Vijay Deverakonda's 'Kingdom' Teaser Unveiled, Set For May 30 Release
February 12, 2025: The much-anticipated teaser for Vijay Deverakonda’s action-thriller Kingdom, which also marks his 12th film, was unveiled on February 12, offering fans a first glimpse of the gripping narrative. The one-minute-fifty-six-second teaser introduces Vijay as a “reincarnated leader,” stirring excitement among his followers.
The teaser begins with a dark, intense battlefield scene where dead bodies are scattered along the shore. As military agents prepare for battle, Vijay’s character makes a powerful, mysterious entrance. Though details about his role remain hidden, the teaser offers glimpses of him wielding a police shield and dressed as a prisoner. The teaser culminates with a gripping dialogue: “I will do anything needed, sir, including destroying everything.”
The teaser also features narration by stars Jr NTR in Telugu, Ranbir Kapoor in Hindi, and Suriya in Tamil, adding to the multilingual appeal of the film.
Ahead of the teaser release, Vijay shared his experience of working alongside Jr NTR, expressing his gratitude for the time spent together while dubbing for the teaser. Vijay wrote on social media, “Spent most of yesterday with him. Chatting about life, times, cinema. Laughing about the same. Sat through the dub of the teaser, him as excited as me seeing it come to life. Thank you @tarak9999 anna for a most wholesome day and for bringing your madness to our world.”
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom stars Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead. The film is produced by Sithara Entertainments in association with Fortune Four Cinemas, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander and editing by Navin Nooli. Kingdom is set for a worldwide release on May 30, 2025.
