April 17, 2025: The much-awaited romantic drama starring Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh has a new title, much to the excitement of fans. Previously known as Ul Jalool Ishq, the film is now officially titled Gustaakh Ishq. The change was announced by producer and fashion designer Manish Malhotra on Wednesday through a post on his Instagram, alongside a fresh new poster of the film.
In the poster, Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh are seen embracing each other, and the soft colors and mood of the visual evoke a deep, passionate love story. The chemistry between the lead pair is evident, hinting at the emotionally rich narrative that Gustaakh Ishq promises.

The film is directed by Vibhu Puri, known for his earlier work on Hawaizaada, and stars veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah and The Family Man actor Sharib Hashmi in key roles, adding to the film’s intriguing appeal.
Producer Manish Malhotra, whose Stage 5 Production banner is behind the film, has also recently announced other projects, including Train From Chhapraula and Bun Tikki.
Earlier in March, Vijay Varma had expressed his excitement about the project during Lakme Fashion Week. He described Ul Jalool Ishq (now Gustaakh Ishq) as “a very exciting, very simple, lovely, beautiful, and rich love story.” When asked about his career, Vijay spoke about his desire to push boundaries and continually challenge himself as an actor. He noted how lucky he’s been to work with directors who see more potential in him than he sees in himself, underscoring his dedication to personal and professional growth.
With the title change and an intriguing storyline ahead, Gustaakh Ishq is surely set to become one of the most anticipated releases.
