However, the actor clarified the situation the following day, issuing an official statement to dispel any misunderstandings.
In his statement, Vikrant explained that while his post had been misinterpreted, he was not retiring from acting but rather taking a temporary hiatus to focus on his physical and mental health. He shared that his health had been impacted recently, and he felt the need to recalibrate. “Acting is all I can do. And it has given me everything I have,” Vikrant said. “But my physical and mental health have taken a hit. I just want to take some time off, want to better my craft.” He further emphasized that his decision was about taking time to focus on his family and well-being and that he would return to acting when the time felt right.

The experience left Vikrant deeply moved, and he expressed his happiness with the media, saying, “I still can’t fully express it in words because I am so happy… This is the highest point of my career, that I got to watch my film with the Prime Minister.”

The film has already gained significant attention, with Prime Minister Modi publicly praising it for revealing the truth behind the events.
