Vikrant Massey’s recent visit to Varanasi, where he attended the Ganga Aarti, reflects his deep connection to the spiritual and cultural heritage of India. Donning a traditional white kurta pyjama for the occasion, Massey joined spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravishankar in experiencing the serene beauty of the Ganga Aarti.
Speaking about his visit, Massey expressed his affinity for Varanasi, describing it as his second home where he has been visiting for the past decade. Emphasizing the importance of unity and progress, Massey highlighted the need for every individual to contribute towards building a self-reliant and developed India, echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047.
On the professional front, Massey is gearing up for the release of ‘The Sabarmati Report’, where he essays the role of Samar Kumar, a vernacular journalist. The film, which also stars Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra, was initially slated for release in May 2024 but has now been rescheduled to hit the theatres on August 2. Helmed by Ranjan Chandel and produced by a team including Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan, ‘The Sabarmati Report’ promises to offer an engaging cinematic experience.
