After more than two decades of high-octane action and “family” values, the road is finally reaching its end. On January 30, 2026, Vin Diesel took to Instagram to officially announce the title and release date for the eleventh and final installment of the main franchise: Fast Forever.

The film is set to hit theaters worldwide on March 17, 2028, marking the conclusion of a saga that began in the streets of Los Angeles back in 2001.

A Tribute to “Paul”

In a move that touched millions of fans, Diesel shared the announcement alongside a classic photo of himself and the late Paul Walker. Diesel’s heartfelt caption emphasized that the finale is a celebration of the legacy they built together.

What We Know So Far

While plot details are being kept under lock and key, several key production details have been confirmed:

Back to Basics: Diesel has hinted that the finale will return the franchise to its roots in Los Angeles, focusing more on street racing culture with a more “tightly controlled” budget compared to the massive $340 million spent on Fast X.
Cast: While the official list is pending, the “family” (Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, etc.) is expected to return to resolve the cliffhanger left at the end of the previous film.
