May 20, 2025: Explosive testimony in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial has unveiled chilling new allegations, including an attempted break-in using a hammer and multiple instances of physical abuse. Kerry Morgan, a model and longtime former friend of Combs’ ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, took the stand to recount a series of violent encounters spanning years.

Morgan testified that shortly after a violent assault at the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, in 2016 — surveillance footage of which has been repeatedly shown to the jury — she witnessed Combs trying to forcibly enter Ventura’s apartment.

“I saw him through the peephole. He was banging on the door with a hammer,” Morgan said. “Cassie didn’t care if he came in and killed her.” According to her, the police arrived nearly three hours later, but no formal complaint was filed.

Morgan’s testimony also revealed another harrowing incident during a vacation in Jamaica. She told the court that Combs allegedly dragged Ventura by the hair down a 50-yard hallway because she was “taking too long in the bathroom.”

The violence wasn’t limited to Ventura, Morgan claimed. In 2018, she says Combs physically assaulted her as well, choking her and throwing a wooden hanger at her head during a fit of rage over suspicions Ventura was cheating. “When I got up, he boomeranged a hanger at my head,” Morgan said, adding that she sustained a concussion and had to seek emergency medical care.

The long-time friendship between Morgan and Ventura ended shortly afterward. A month later, Morgan claims Ventura offered her $30,000 to sign a non-disclosure agreement during a meeting at a West Hollywood pizzeria. “We haven’t spoken in seven years since,” Morgan said. “I draw my line at physical abuse.”

Following Morgan’s testimony, former Diddy personal assistant David James took the stand, describing a “cult-like” work environment at Bad Boy Entertainment. James spoke of working 20-hour shifts six to seven days a week and referred to the corporate culture as one where “Mr. Combs’ kingdom” was to be served without question.

He also recalled a chilling conversation in an SUV where Combs allegedly bragged about Ventura, saying, “Cassie’s good. I got her right where I want her, she’s young.” He reportedly referred to her as “very mouldable.”

Sean Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges, including racketeering, sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for prostitution. If convicted, the music mogul faces life in prison.

The trial continues, with further witness testimony and evidence expected in the coming weeks.
