Comedian Vir Das threw a lavish celebration in Mumbai that attracted several celebrities after he won the coveted International Emmy Award for Comedy for his standup special “Vir Das: Landing.”
On Thursday night, he and his spouse Shivani Mathur threw a party in Mumbai, where they posed for photographers. Shaheen Bhatt, Soni Razdan’s daughter, was present at the celebration. Nushrratt Bharuccha looked gorgeous and dressed in black. At Vir Das’s party, Shriya Pilgaonkar was also snapped. Arriving in his ultra-cool attire, Kunal Kemmu posed for the photographers. As he accepted his Emmy for best comedy special, “Vir Das: Landing,” he was ecstatic.

“Vir Das: Landing,” which debuted on the over-the-top platform Netflix, faced competition from the French series Le Flambeau, the Argentine series El Encargado, and the British series Derry Girls Season 3.
Vir Das: For India, his third stand-up special, was nominated for a 2021 International Emmy in the category of “Best Comedy.”
