Virat Kohli’s Sister Shuts Down Troll with Class After Questioning Her Bond with Anushka Sharma
June 5, 2025: As Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) lifted the IPL 2025 trophy, celebrations erupted across Bengaluru and beyond. Among those sharing the joy was Virat’s sister, Bhawna Kohli Dhingra, who posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram honoring her brother’s triumphant journey.
In an emotional note, Bhawna reflected on the rollercoaster ride of emotions that led to RCB’s historic victory. She wrote, “This night, this moment where we celebrate this dream which made us cry, which made us laugh; but the wait that you did is far too long. Each and every second of the moment needs to be experienced with stillness and a strange calmness that it’s actually done.” She further acknowledged the collective spirit of fans and family, saying, “This win is everybody’s personal win. Your tears were felt in the eyes of everyone who loves you. We cried with you because you, my little Veeru, are god’s chosen one who brings so much joy and inspiration to everyone.”
Bhawna’s post, which included several pictures of Virat from the match day — including one with his wife, Anushka Sharma — quickly gained traction on social media. However, the celebration was momentarily marred by a troll who commented, “Why does he never mention you in any speech or like your post? Not even Anushkha does, lol.”
Responding with grace, Bhawna penned a measured reply: “May god give you the patience to understand love can exist in many ways, which is not necessarily shown to the world, but it’s still there, like the love for almighty. Hope you have enough love in your life, no insecurities, only true bonds which don’t need any validation. God bless you.” Her dignified response has since gone viral, earning praise from fans and followers alike.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been at the center of the city’s celebrations, participating in RCB’s victory parade through Bengaluru. Anushka shared joyful moments from the event, capturing scenes of exuberance as massive crowds lined the streets to cheer on the champions.
Tragically, the festivities were overshadowed by heartbreaking news. At least 11 people lost their lives and over 30 were injured in a stampede-like situation outside the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday evening. The large crowd had gathered to welcome the RCB team, who were to be felicitated by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah following their thrilling IPL final win against Punjab Kings.
The incident has cast a somber tone over the celebrations, with authorities working to provide aid to those affected and investigating the cause of the tragedy.
