'Virosh', Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda Tie the Knot in Udaipur
The long-standing speculation around “Virosh” finally culminated in a beautiful reality today, Thursday, February 26, 2026. Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda officially tied the knot in an intimate but grand traditional ceremony at the ITC Mementos in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
The couple, who have shared a “just friends” status for nearly eight years since their first film Geetha Govindam, chose to honor both their cultural heritages with two distinct ceremonies on their wedding day.
The first ceremony took place in the early morning hours, following traditional Telugu Hindu rituals to honor the groom’s heritage.
To honor Rashmika’s roots, a second ceremony is scheduled for this evening according to Kodava (Coorgi) traditions.
In a heartfelt social media post earlier this week, the couple officially adopted the fan-given moniker “VIROSH” for their wedding.
“With full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour. We would like to name it — ‘The Wedding of VIROSH’. Thank you for holding us with so much love.”
