March 10, 2025: Decades ago, Bollywood was abuzz with the much-talked-about relationships of Aishwarya Rai, Salman Khan, and Vivek Oberoi. While Aishwarya and Salman’s relationship ended in 2002, her link-up with Vivek led to a public feud with Salman Khan in 2003. The controversy reportedly impacted Vivek’s career, with many believing Salman’s influence affected his opportunities in Bollywood.

Years later, in an interview on Dr. Jai Madaan’s YouTube channel, Vivek broke his silence on the emotional toll of being in the public eye. When asked about Salman Khan, he simply responded,
“God bless him.”
Similarly, regarding Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, he kept it simple, saying:
“God bless her.”
However, Vivek had only kind words for Abhishek Bachchan, calling him “a sweetheart and a really nice person.”

Discussing the emotional impact of his breakup, Vivek shared,
“Your breakup becomes world news. But moving on is the key to healing.”
Offering advice to those dealing with heartbreak, he compared it to a child dropping a lollipop in the mud.
“Life will give you a new partner. The longer you stay with pain, the more it’ll grow,” he said.
He also emphasized self-worth in relationships, stating:
“Sometimes, we enter abusive relationships where we are not valued or respected. You stay because you haven’t identified your self-worth.”
At one point in his life, he admitted he had a fatalistic attitude, thinking, “I don’t care, I can give my life also.” However, with time, he learned the importance of valuing himself and his purpose.
When asked how his past shaped him, Vivek candidly shared:
“Perhaps I would’ve become a superficial person, living a superficial life. Perhaps I would’ve become plastic myself, among people with plastic smiles.”
But today, negativity and trolling do not affect him.
“If people troll me now, I don’t care. I know my purpose in life and what is truly important to me.”
Despite the ups and downs, Vivek Oberoi has embraced positivity, self-awareness, and a renewed sense of purpose, proving that healing and growth are possible after heartbreak.
