February 11, 2025: Walton Goggins, known for his iconic roles in The Shield, Justified, The Righteous Gemstones, and Invincible, recently spoke about the highly anticipated second season of Fallout, the TV adaptation of the popular Bethesda Game Studios video game. Goggins, who plays a key role in the series, was on the red carpet at the premiere of The White Lotus Season 3, where he shared his excitement about the upcoming season.
“We’re in the middle of filming it right now, we’ve been at it since November, and I can tell you that I thought Season 1 was extraordinary, personally, I was very pleased with it,” Goggins said. “This blows it out of the water, what these writers have done and the artisans that have come together to tell this story. It’s really gonna be something. I can’t wait for people to see it. We’re working really hard to make that happen.”
Despite a brief delay in production due to California wildfires, the show is moving full speed ahead. Fallout moved its filming location from New York to Los Angeles, and fans are eager to see how the new environment will influence the story. The series, set in a post-apocalyptic world 200 years after the initial fallout, follows the inhabitants of luxury fallout shelters as they must adapt to a retrofuturistic, chaotic world.

Goggins stars alongside an impressive cast that includes Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moises Arias, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, and others, with executive producers Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, and Graham Wagner at the helm.
In addition to his role in Fallout, Goggins is set to appear in the third season of Mike White’s The White Lotus, further adding to his busy slate of projects. Fans are eagerly awaiting both shows, as Goggins promises that Fallout Season 2 will be an even more thrilling and immersive experience than its predecessor.
