The highly anticipated action film, War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, is officially set to stream on Netflix after its theatrical run.
September 15, 2025: You can now watch War 2, one of the most anticipated action movies of the year, online. The guys who made the movie have revealed that it will be on Netflix after a massive box office struggle and a high-energy run in theaters.
Netflix and the production firm haven’t said when the movie will be accessible to stream yet, but industry insiders and the movie’s theatrical credits say it will be available six to eight weeks after it comes out in theaters. Fans will be able to stream the Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR movie from the end of September to the start of October.
The YRF Spy Universe is a hugely popular series, and War 2 is the sixth movie in it. The director is Ayan Mukerji. Hrithik Roshan plays the fierce former RAW agent Kabir Dhaliwal again in the movie. He goes off the rails and becomes a danger to national security. Telugu superstar Jr. NTR plays Major Vikram Chelapathi, who is his opponent in his long-awaited Bollywood debut. There are also fantastic supporting actors in the movie, like Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Ashutosh Rana.
When War 2 came out, it earned mixed reviews, but it did well at the box office, especially considering it came out the same weekend as Rajinikanth’s Coolie. The movie had a spectacular opening, making more than ₹52 crore on its first day and hitting the ₹200 crore club within a week, according to reports. It made about ₹244.29 crore in India and more than ₹300 crore around the world before it left theaters.
Even though critics had different opinions about the movie, its box office numbers show that it will be one of the biggest action movies of 2025. Netflix has announced that it will soon be available for digital download, so fans who missed it in cinemas or want to see the battle again will be able to do so.
