Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 brings back Hrithik as the suave and deadly spy Agent Kabir. Making his Bollywood debut, Jr NTR steps in as the film’s main antagonist, and his intense screen presence is already winning hearts. The teaser is packed with action — from sword fights to hand-to-hand combat, car chases, and a gripping confrontation between the two stars.

Kiara Advani also makes a splash in the teaser, both with her chemistry with Hrithik and a much-talked-about beach sequence.

But what truly has fans buzzing is the strategic addition of Jr NTR to the YRF Spy Universe, joining the likes of Pathaan (Shah Rukh Khan), Tiger (Salman Khan), and Kabir (Hrithik Roshan). According to sources, his character won’t be limited to War 2, but will feature in spin-offs and major crossovers in the future.

The stars also exchanged playful jabs on social media ahead of the teaser’s release. Hrithik tweeted, “Hey @jrntr, think you know what to expect on the 20th of May? Trust me, you have NO idea what’s in store. Ready? #War2.” To which NTR replied, “Thank you in advance @iHrithik sir! Can’t wait to hunt you down and give you a special return gift, Kabir…”

As the sixth film in the YRF Spy Universe, War 2 follows the events of Pathaan and Tiger 3, setting the stage for even more interconnected stories. Coming up next is Alpha, a female-led spy thriller starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, releasing December 25, 2025.

With War 2, the franchise seems ready to reach new heights — and the teaser is just the beginning.
