Watch: Akshay Kumar’s Hilarious Prank on Nargis Fakhri Has Everyone Laughing

May 28, 2025: Akshay Kumar’s prankster streak made a roaring comeback at the Housefull 5 trailer launch event in Mumbai, where he pulled a lighthearted stunt on his co-star Nargis Fakhri — leaving everyone, including Riteish Deshmukh and Sonam Bajwa, in stitches.

In a now-viral video circulating on social media, Akshay is seen greeting Nargis with a warm hug — but what came next was classic Akshay. As they embraced, the actor secretly stuck a piece of paper on her back that read “Sajid Nadiadwala” (the film’s producer). It wasn’t long before Nargis caught on, and her reaction was pure gold. Bursting into laughter, she quickly took her sweet revenge by pasting the same note back onto Akshay’s back — much to the amusement of everyone around.

Sonam Bajwa was seen helping Nargis remove the prank note, and the entire exchange had the crowd laughing, reinforcing Akshay’s reputation as the undisputed prank king of Bollywood sets.

Veteran actor Jackie Shroff backed that up during the media interaction at the event. Referring to Akshay, he said:

“Yeh sabse bada prankster hai. Itne bade bade joker hai, sabse bada jisne abhi bola hai woh safed suit mein hai. Iske saamne koun kuch bol sakta hai. Ek number ka badmaash hai.”

(Translation: “He’s the biggest prankster. All of them are jokers, but the biggest one is the man in the white suit. No one can top his mischief!”)

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 takes the franchise to new heights with a comedy of errors wrapped in a murder mystery, all set aboard a luxury cruise. According to the trailer, Akshay, Riteish, and Abhishek Bachchan are suspects in what promises to be a wild ride.

The ensemble cast also includes Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangda Singh, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Panday, and more.

Housefull 5 is set to release in theatres on June 6, 2025, and if this trailer launch was anything to go by, the film promises to deliver big laughs and bigger twists.
