"Saiyaara" Soars: Newcomers' Romance Hits $1M in North America, ₹100 Cr in India!
May 30, 2025: The excitement is palpable as Yash Raj Films (YRF) and acclaimed director Mohit Suri join forces to bring a fresh romantic saga, Saiyaara, to the big screen. Known for crafting some of Bollywood’s most unforgettable love stories, this collaboration has fans eagerly awaiting its release.

YRF unveiled the first teaser of Saiyaara today, introducing Ahaan Panday as the lead hero, marking his much-anticipated debut in Hindi cinema. Alongside him is Aneet Padda, acclaimed for her powerful performance in the popular series Big Girls Don’t Cry, who plays the female lead.
Produced by YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara promises to be an intense love story filled with passion, emotion, and the poetic beauty hinted at by its title.
The title Saiyaara means a wandering celestial body. Poetically, it symbolizes something or someone dazzling, ethereal, and otherworldly — a “wandering star” that shines, guides, but remains just out of reach. This metaphor perfectly sets the tone for a love story that is both beautiful and elusive.
YRF has been the bedrock of Bollywood romance for over 50 years, delivering classics directed by legends like Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra. Mohit Suri himself has a celebrated two-decade career with hits like Aashiqui 2, Malang, and Ek Villain, each capturing hearts with their unique brand of love and drama.
Mark your calendars: Saiyaara is set to release worldwide on July 18, 2025, promising an unforgettable cinematic experience for fans of romance and drama.
