Watch: Arjun Kapoor’s Reaction as Someone Screams Malaika Arora’s Name During Film Promotions
February 11, 2025: Arjun Kapoor, who is currently promoting his upcoming film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, found himself in an awkward situation when a fan screamed Malaika Arora’s name during an event. The actor, who confirmed his breakup with Malaika last year, was left speechless as his co-stars Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh also took notice of the moment.
During a fan interaction event, Arjun was on stage with Bhumi and Rakul, answering questions. As Bhumi was about to respond to a fan’s query about the movie, someone from the audience loudly shouted “Malaika”.
The unexpected moment caught Arjun’s attention immediately. He looked straight at the crowd, shook his head with an all-knowing expression, but remained silent. Bhumi and Rakul also turned towards him, acknowledging the situation but refraining from any comments.
This isn’t the first time Arjun Kapoor has faced such an incident post-breakup. At a Diwali party hosted by Raj Thackeray last year, a fan repeatedly called out Malaika’s name, prompting Arjun to finally respond:

Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora started dating in 2018. Though they kept their relationship largely private, they often shared glimpses of their vacations and birthday celebrations. However, in 2023, Arjun confirmed his single status, officially putting an end to breakup speculations.
Recently, after the death of Malaika’s father, Anil Mehta, Arjun was seen visiting her, highlighting their continued mutual respect.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the romantic comedy features Dino Morea, Harsh Gujral, and Shakti Kapoor in supporting roles. The film is presented by Vashu Bhagnani & Puja Films, produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh, and is set to hit cinemas on February 21, 2025.
