April 10, 2025: Famous Indian singer, rapper, and music producer Honey Singh, currently on his ‘Millionaire’ India Tour, recently shared his admiration for two cricket legends during his performance in Kolkata. The 42-year-old artist revealed that he has always been a passionate supporter of cricketing icons Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni.

In an emotional moment during his show, Honey Singh expressed that Sachin Tendulkar has been his all-time favourite cricketer. He described his admiration for the legendary batsman, known as the “God of Cricket,” saying, “Mai sabse tagda fan agar cricket mai hua hu toh woh Tendulkar Sir ka hua hu (If I have ever been a strongest fan of anyone in cricket, it has been of Sachin Tendulkar Sir).”

Singh also spoke warmly about MS Dhoni, describing his experience meeting the former Indian cricket captain for the first time. He said that the meeting left a profound impact on him, calling Dhoni one of the most unique individuals he had ever encountered. “Personally jab mai mila toh mai khatarnak fan ho gaya Dhoni paaji ka. Uske jaisa insaan maine apne zindagi mein nahin dekha. Samandar hai woh samandar (When I personally met Dhoni, I became his die-hard fan. I have never seen anyone like him in my life. He is an ocean),” Singh revealed.

Both Tendulkar and Dhoni have left an indelible mark on Indian cricket. Tendulkar, regarded as one of the greatest cricketers in the history of the sport, has retired from all forms of cricket, while MS Dhoni, the former captain of India, retired from international cricket but continues to play for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
