December 24, 2024: Singer Shaan has reassured his fans about his safety after a massive fire broke out at his Bandra residence on Tuesday. The fire, which started on the seventh floor of a multi-storey building, prompted a swift response from the fire department.

Shaan took to his Instagram to provide an update on the situation and confirmed that his family was safe. In an Instagram Story, Shaan, whose real name is Shantanu Mukherjee, shared the details of how they managed to escape the dangerous situation.

He wrote, “Dear All, as the news spreads about the fire in our building, just to let you all know that we are safe. The fire was on the 7th floor; we live on higher floors. We managed to escape to the 15th floor and waited to be rescued. To cut a long horrible story short, we are absolutely fine, waiting to go back home once there is a clearer picture from the fire department.”

The fire reportedly broke out early in the morning in an apartment on the seventh floor of the building. Fire tenders rushed to the scene and were able to bring the blaze under control. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, and Shaan and his family, who live on higher floors, were able to evacuate safely.

The singer thanked fans for their concern and assured them that he was safe, along with his loved ones. He also mentioned that they were waiting for the fire department to give a clearer picture before they could return to their home.
