What Did Ranveer Allahbadia Loose After India's Got Latent Controversy: Find Out
New Delhi, April 17:
Popular YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, has opened up about the fallout from the India’s Got Latent controversy, revealing the toll it took on his mental health, reputation, and career. Responding to fan questions during a recent Instagram Q&A, Allahbadia got candid about the cost of the controversy.
“Lost: Health, money, opportunity, repute, mental health, peace, parents’ contentment & much more.
Gained: Transformation, spiritual growth, toughness.
Will slowly work towards getting back everything that’s lost. Let the work speak,” he wrote on his Instagram Story.
The controversy erupted after Allahbadia made a controversial remark about a contestant’s parents during an episode of the YouTube show India’s Got Latent, hosted by comedian Samay Raina. The comment sparked widespread outrage and led to multiple FIRs, including allegations of promoting obscenity and vulgarity.

In another emotional post, Allahbadia reflected on his biggest fear during the last two months:
“That I let down the families of my team members because of my mistake. People don’t understand how many jobs are at stake. Quickly wrote off my career and hence the careers of 300+ people. Learnt very deeply about human nature.”
He added that he is “not 100% okay even now” but remains committed to pushing forward, acknowledging that many livelihoods depend on his work.

“Mobs love seeing people fall. But we will keep moving forward.”
Earlier, Allahbadia had issued a public apology, admitting that his remarks lacked both humour and sensitivity:
“My comment wasn’t just inappropriate, it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry.”
On Tuesday, both Allahbadia and Samay Raina appeared before the Maharashtra Cyber Cell in Mumbai to record their statements in the ongoing case.
