In her letter, Nayanthara alleged that Dhanush had ignored her requests for two years to grant permission to use footage from the film. “This is an all-time low from you and speaks so much about your character,” she wrote. She accused Dhanush of not practicing what he preaches, stating, “I wish you were half the person you portray to be on stage in audio launches in front of your innocent fans.”
While the open letter has sparked a debate on the internet, the resurfaced video of Nayanthara’s public apology has added fuel to the controversy.
