When Sidharth-Kiara’s Love Story Began: Shershaah Co-Star Spills the Secrets

Now, their Shershaah co-star Himanshu Malhotra has opened up about the early days of their romance. In a recent interview with Indian Express’ SCREEN, Himanshu reflected on witnessing the first sparks between Kiara and Sidharth during the shoot.

“We didn’t know much about their love story, but we could sense it blooming. I think it was Palanpur where we saw both of them together. That’s where the funeral sequence was shot,” he revealed. “It must have escalated when they shot the Chandigarh part.”

He also shared a warm recollection of working alongside Sidharth, noting, “The experience was nice. Sidharth was very warm and cordial.”

Directed by Vishnuvardhan, Shershaah became a milestone for both actors — professionally and personally. The critically acclaimed film tells the story of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC), a hero of the 1999 Kargil War. Sidharth took on a dual role as Vikram and his twin brother Vishal, while Kiara portrayed Dimple Cheema, Vikram’s fiancée.

The film’s success not only cemented their status as leading stars but also marked the quiet beginning of a deeply cherished bond that has now blossomed into family life.
