‘White Lotus’ Star Patrick Schwarzenegger Teases Shocking Finale: “I’ll Watch Alone”

Actor hints at jaw-dropping twists in final episodes of Season 3, says he’ll avoid watching them with his famous family

Los Angeles, March 26: Patrick Schwarzenegger says The White Lotus is about to take things to a whole new level of shocking—and even he might skip the family watch party.

The actor, who plays Saxon Ratliff in the hit HBO series’ third season, revealed that the final two episodes are “crazy” enough for him to watch alone—without his mother Maria Shriver or father Arnold Schwarzenegger nearby.

During a light-hearted appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Patrick received a video question from his mom, journalist and activist Maria Shriver, who asked, “What episode of White Lotus are you most nervous for me to watch?” She cheekily added, “You keep saying, ‘That’s not me, that’s a prosthetic.’ OK, anyway.”—a nod to his nude scene in the first episode.

Patrick admitted the first episode was “a little nerve-wracking” to watch with his entire family, but warned that the real shockers are yet to come.

“Some upcoming episodes I’m gonna watch without them. I’ll definitely take a bathroom break,” he said. “The next episodes are, yeah, they’re crazy!”

The series, known for its edgy, provocative themes, has already stunned viewers with a nude scene, a sibling kiss, and a threesome involving Saxon, his younger brother Lochlan (Sam Nivola), and Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon). But Schwarzenegger says there’s much more beneath the surface than pure shock value.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he shared insights into the incest storyline, explaining that creator Mike White uses such moments to explore deep identity conflicts and challenge traditional definitions of masculinity.

“There’s sensationalism, yes, but there’s also conflict,” he said. “Mike does a great job of creating something outrageous that sparks conversation, but also shapes a character’s internal pilgrimage.”

He added that the relationship between Saxon and his younger brother carries emotional weight and isn’t simply included for controversy.

“There’s always more than meets the eye with these storylines,” he emphasized.

Even Arnold Schwarzenegger reacted to the latest episode on social media, proving the show’s unexpected twists are catching everyone off guard—including The Terminator.

As the White Lotus Season 3 finale approaches, it’s clear Mike White has no plans of dialing things down. And Patrick? He’ll be watching… just maybe from a different room.
